A directory listing, telehealth, booking, secure client messaging, clinical forms and Stripe payouts. A$25 a month. Every practitioner approved by a person.
groundpath gives an independent Australian counsellor, social worker or mental health practitioner the things a private practice needs and would otherwise buy separately: a public profile in the directory, online bookings with calendar sync, secure client messaging, clinical forms and assessments, and session payments through Stripe Connect.
Where a session payment is collected through groundpath, groundpath takes 5% + A$1.00 of that payment, and Stripe charges its own processing fee on top. The subscription is separate from both.
Every listing is approved by a person before it appears. Identity and qualifications are checked against the relevant register where one exists. Psychologist is the one hard gate: it is a protected title and AHPRA registration is required by law, so a psychologist cannot be listed without one.
Social work and counselling have no legal registering body in Australia, so membership of AASW, ACA or PACFA is offered rather than demanded. Where a practitioner holds one, the body is always shown so a client can check it at source; whether the number is displayed is the practitioner's choice.
Insurance is asked for where the profession calls for it and is deliberately not badged on a profile. A certificate proves cover on the day it was issued, and a permanent badge would claim ongoing knowledge groundpath does not have.
